Good evening my friends.

Here we are, at the end of yet another year.

As we stand poised, on the verge of ushering in what will hopefully be a wonderful and bright New Year, I hope that we can all take a few moments, not just in the next few hours, but throughout all of 2015, to be kind to one another. It has never been more important than it is right now. In this day and age, where social media and multiple tools for communication exist in such enormity, we find ourselves less and less connected to one another as people.

It is easy, whilst in this busy world, to fall victim to the technology that is within our fingertips reach, to send a text, to shoot off an email full of short forms and acronyms, tossing a "like" on something within this vast forum here, all of it far easier than it is to pick up the phone and talk to someone and yet, nowhere near as personal.

Outside, beyond on the confines of our home and workplace, we find much the same. What was once an irregularity has become the norm. In the past, we knew our neighbours, the villages we grew up in were small and as a result, we spoke to most everyone we met. Now, in this modern age, things are much bigger, much faster. It is impossible to know everyone in your city, likely is the same for the street you live on, or the floor or your building.

We drive along the various arteries of our often vast and varied landscapes, safe in the anonymity of our shinny metal boxes, quick to temper at another anonymous box, one that dare show signs of the human frailty within and err in their judgement of a fast moving, ever changing environment.

It is always easy to find fault and yet, it us just as easy to find the good, if we choose to notice it. I say notice, because it doesn't often take a great deal of looking to find it, choosing to see it, well, that is another matter entirely.
So as we go forward into 2015, my earnest hope is that we can navigate the waters of this coming year with kindness and compassion for one another, for even the smallest amount of care and understanding can go a long way.

I would like to wish you all the very best in the New Year, may it present each and every one of you with adventures of untold wonder and delight. Health and happiness my friends.

For all those who have been patiently waiting on book three of the Vampyre Tales. Here is a look at what the cover will be like.
Chapter twenty-six will be completed by the weekend and that my friends, is the last chapter of that book.

Although this concept was my creation, it was Wendy Teal of CanonStudio who did all the photography and post editing that made it come to life. She is a great photographer and a wonderful person to boot. If any of you live in the Niagara Falls / Fort Erie area and find yourselves in need of a photographer, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you all so much for your patience and your support, both are very much appreciated.

Enjoy your evening, whatever that may entail and please go carefully if you are out and about tonight.
